Add Deals from Email Message

It does not seem possible to create a deal from the Email message screen, only a task. It would be more efficient to be able to do this from the perspective of an email context.

At the current moment, we do not have plans to include the feature to create a deal from an email message.
Instead, you can go to a contact record and select “Assign Deal” to create a deal from this view.

I have to say this - for a sales pipeline management tool it is MORONIC to not have a simple function like creating a deal from an message... how can you not see the absolutely clear logic of providing this function?
The fact its not even on your radar seriously affects the sense of me continuing to use this service since that is a core function which I currently have to work around senselessly.

Like other CRMs my feature request is to allow the addition of Deals from the structured email contents of an online form. User story: A prospective client arrives at my online landing page with a contact form, fills out the form (minimal required info need to initiate a Deal entry), hits submit which sends an email to a special email address associated with my Nimble account that goes right into my Deals pipeline as a Qualification Deal. I am notified via email or my iOS Nimble app that a new prospect is in hopper.

Yes ! I cannot vote for this since it is closed, but that is definitely one of my 2 favorite improvements to Nimble. Please reopen that suggestion !

I get leads from various sources via email. The format varies. Still, anything that would help create a contact and a deal directly from the message would be huge!

I agree 1000%! New leads come from email, LinkedIn, and Twitter, so that's the main reason I joined Nimble to begin with!
I did the long route: created a task from a twitter message received, then went to deals and created a new deal, then went to my task and "related it" to the deal.
Side note, being able to add new deals and any new field right within the edit window of a task, etc would be great too!

Also, I like having the entire contact activity stream attached to a deal. It would be nice however, to have a feature that allows you to easily assign activities to a single deal/multiple deals to get a better idea of the conversations happening in regards to that one thing.
