Sync to google contacts
would love the ability to have a clean sync back to google contacts, or at least to the iphone.
Hi,
We’re happy to announce that we now have a solution for syncing with Nimble and Google Contacts. We developed this through a partnership with a great group of people from the PieSync team.
For Solo Users, this service is completely free of charge.
For Team Users, it is $5.00 per user, per month.
Feel free to visit the PieSync site to install the app and try it for 14 days!
To read more about the integration, please visit our blog post here.
If you have any specific feedback to leave for this feature, we will be monitoring here for feedback
Best regards,
Joseph

My trial is almost over. Paying another $5 on the top of $15 is so sad. I am thinking to export my data out and find other alternatives.

This should be native chaps; we have just started on paid team account, but I have no intention of adding $5/user for something which should be included as core (along with multiple Twitter account syncing, and some solution to the Linkedin impasse). Our old solution account still has a few months to run and has better integration, so not promising to stay unless there is some movement here. It's a shame; Nimble could be great.

I just started Nimble service to see if it will make sense for my business. I think there is certainly opportunity for Nimble, but there is substantial competition in the marketplace. It seems like there needs to be some more maturity with the model before I'm all in. Not the only game in town, but it's a decent one.

I guess Piesync is no longer free? Google sync should be a native, included feature. I guess I need to start looking at other options...

It's a special deal we have with Nimble. That's why it's not advertised on our website.
After creating your Nimble-Google connection you'll see the special free plan appear on the PieSync billing page.

Very disappointed that this isn't a standard feature. Unlikely to continue the trial without it...

Hi Philip,
The PieSync integration with Nimble is free for Single User accounts, and I see that you are a single user of Nimble. You may use this for free.
Best,
Joseph

This is extremely disappointing. It seems that the solution to everything that is requested from Nimble costs additional money - this is not unheard of, but for basic functionality this is in poor taste. Nimble is nice, but with so much competition out there, you make it more difficult to justify remaining as a paying customer if each minute feature is an additional cost, and a separate provider.

@everyone: you guys hugged our server big-time yesterday. Thanks! :-)
@Helen: thank you for the kind words! We'll keep on adding features and expanding the product!
@Marc: we asked a bunch of Nimble users and actually came to an average price of 5.2$ / user /month. We're not even asking that right now. Just the 3.5$ / month for the next 6 months. Feel free to mail me at miguel@piesync.com. I'd love to discuss and figure out how I can make it work for you :-)
@Gabe: our service shouldn't be slow once the initial sync is done. The reason for this is that an initial sync requires us to 'index' all X thousand of your contacts. This takes quite some time and is a very intensive job for the server. After that, the sync works very smoothly and very, very fast.
Synchronization software is incredibly complex and very difficult to write and maintain. However, our dev-team is working around the clock to fix all issues and optimize the process as much as possible. We've only just begun ;-) -

The price is TOO HIGH. A subscription to Google Apps is cheaper, why is this basic feature more expensive?

I set this up last week and after a few issues which were addressed by piesync it is working well. I've now been able to start fresh with nimble and get rid of the 'noise' thanks to this tool. I place new contacts into a special group in google then it goes through. I am hoping we will be able to do multiple groups in the future. If I add a contact to nimble it does go to google but currently not to my iPhone as it doesn't appear in 'my contacts' - they are going to fix that.
It's been a long time coming - time for celebration! -

Not a fan of this solution. It's slow and I think it's absurd to pay an extra $5 per month for this basic feature. This should absolutely be included in the $15 I already pay.

2-way sync please! I love Nimble of I'm going to stick with Insightly until I see this change. Data management is a MUST with contacts and Zapier does not make the cut.

I have been trying out Nimble for several weeks now, and really like it. However being able to have 2-way syncing between my Google Apps contacts and Nimble is the one item holding me back from using Nimble.

Is this still under review?
Zapier is not the answer. It just doesn't work as most in this forum expect. Additionally, I've tried to make weekly import from Nimble to GApps but it's a complete mess.
Base and Insightly is delivering this for long time now. Why is so difficult for Nimble to include this feature?

Zapier doesn't cut it. Please add google contacts sync. I use your service and Contactually. It already offers this. Thank you.
