Not having mail merge / email templating is strange -- it's not really a feature, it's more a required part of communication. It's been nine months since the last reply by Nimble...is this coming out at any time soon?

It would be great to even have a VERY simple option to change just the name and modify emails if needed. All other social CRMs have this.

We currently use Contactually for this very reason. If Nimble adds this feature I'd be willing to switch. It's the only thing that doesn't make it a turnkey CRM solution

This is THE missing Nimble feature. Is there any update on when you'll be rolling it out? Without this feature, Nimble isn't the time-saver that it certainly could be.

I think important is a location to make the templates and include mergefields like firstname, lastname. It would be great if they were Google threaded replies not new emails.

To be honest this is one of the main things I was hoping would be included... please please please get this feature up - everything else is amazing, but this is a major gap.

Templates are common place in most CRM systems today. In sales, we tend to have repeat interactions over and over with different audiences. Templates allow for a more efficient manner to "nudge" folks in the sales process, follow up on standard sales processes, and maintain some uniformity with company standards. This is absolutely critical and should be in the top of your list of things to do in 2014 in order to help more people build better relationships.

I get that templates sometimes can undermine the "relationship" part of a CRM but it is a necessary feature and great way to jumpstart emails. Without them, the job of keeping in touch gets overwhelming. Please move this feature up in priority. Thank you!

Templates for sending messages to linkedin connections and the ability to have a signature section would be very useful for new connections and some marketing processes

Nimble must be the last CRM to have email templates. Making Nimble, well, not very Nimble.

99% of our outgoing emails are based on Templates. From the comments below, 99% of your potential customers for Nimble are the same. It seems like adding email template ability to Nimble should be a priority, don't you think?

We currently have a team of 6 using SUGAR CRM with Collabspot which enables us to use google apps. We were extremely excited about the prospect of moving to a more nimble and integrated (with gmail) solution when we found you guys. However 90% of all our out-going e-mails are based on templates so with no templates we're unable to get buy in from the team. PLEASE PLEASE provide templates soon, this looks like a big missing link!!! Thank you in anticipation of an announcement very soon!

Our organization just joined Nimble mostly for the purpose of streamlining our reach out and being more organized with who, when, and how our team touches clients, candidates, and contacts. Message templates are going to be essential if we want to get our team on board with using this product. It is a time saver and efficiency catalyst!

Please please please! This would allow us to bring our customer service team onto our Nimble platform and it would be amazing.

Email templates are mission-critical. I attend 5-7 networking events a week, and bring home 4-5 contacts from each. Copy and paste that many times doesn't allow for efficient follow up.

Email templates are a must in the day when instant Followup with Prospects and customers is required. This feature in in 5Degrees and makes followup after an interaction a breeze. I really want to use Nimble as it has so many great features but email templates are a must for me.
