Enhanced Mailchimp Integration
Provide better integration with MailChimp, with a true Sync Feature (2-way) and also provide mapping of additional fields - especially custom fields.
This allows for more flexibility when putting together email campaigns in MailChimp. Example: I divide my contacts in to 50+ regions, based upon there location. To seperate these today with Nimble/MailChimp I will have to create 50+ mailing list (and maintain all those seperate list exports). However, if the custom fields are mapped, I have one list to manage, and can filter out by the custom fields when preparing the campain.
Hi Everyone,
We now feature 2-way sync with MailChimp, including syncing unsubscribes, tagging contacts based on rules, and syncing custom fields from MailChimp to Nimble via our all-new PieSync integration.
Our PieSync integration allows you to set up a trial with unlimited contact syncs for 14 days and then you may keep up to 2,000 contacts in sync for free if you do not upgrade.

I want to be able to import from Mailchimp & find the most promising prospects from that list by using Nimble's features such as "walk in the social footprint" & see who has the most matches with my keywords.

I too am in complete agreement with the numerous requests for 2 way MC integration. I'm sure the requirements for this integration is far greater than what has been shown in this particular forum.
It would be great to know what the current status on this is, as my trial has just expired and without this feature I might have to move elsewhere. I currently use capsule, which has a great MC integration feature that allows me to see subscriber activity. This is far more useful a sales tool than just social alone as it allows you to understand response activity for a particular campaign and gauge what specific product/solution/service etc is potentially most appealing and enable you to respond accordingly without having to hop between different platforms. There's no question of the importance of having the social, sales and marketing better streamlined, the only question is if Nimble will be implementing this feature or not.

Any updates on the two-way Mailchimp integration? We are wasting a lot of time and effort manually updating contact records every time we send out an email to a list of contacts!!!
Thanks

There have been a few comments on this already … but just to reinforce the points already made … I'd really like to see a 2-way integration with Mailchimp. I'd like to be able to run a closed loop campaign eg.
- find contacts in Nimble (e.g. nominate them for a regular newsletter)
- use that list to create a subscription list in Mailchimp
- send emails from Mailchimp
- see from Nimble who has received/read/opened etc emails.I don't need full campaign reporting (I can do that in MailChimp) - I just want to be able to use Nimble to get a single view of the customer contact.
It's a MUST HAVE for me!

Please add this. The only other CRM I know of that does this (2-way sync) is Batchblue, but I would like to stick with Nimble if you can make it happen.
Also, per Claire's suggestion, that would BE AWESOME to see a Mailchimp email history for each contact, and to see if Opens, Clicks, Unsubs, etc...
Thank you.

Joseph, any update here? I don't think the 'limits set by Mailchimp's API' is an issue as other CRMs have much strong Mailchimp integrations at the moment.

I also think it would be interesting to see in Nimble which marketing emails were sent to each contact through Mailchimp.

Claire, you are always welcome to comment on any of our threads on this forum! We want to make sure that our users have a place to share their ideas on how to make Nimble better!
I also agree that showing information such as "opens" would be a great addition to our MailChimp integration. We will weigh in on whether or not we are going to move forward with this feature request as soon as we get through requests with a higher level of backing.
Thank you!

I know this is an old thread but can I add to it? Even the most basic 2 way sync would be helpful, such as this person is in a mailing list or this person opened an email.

2 way sync should also be able retrieve information about clicks, opens etc. This data is very important to help us understand how engaged an existing prospect or client is, and being able to have that in Nimble would really help us better target our sales efforts.

I know its been about 7 months ago, but any new information on the 2-way sync with MailChimp. It would help my business out a lot.

I suggest taking a look at Batchbook. They are featured on Mailchimp as having true, 2-way sync so it's definitely do-able.
Also, PipelineDeals just added an extra feature that, on list export, allows you to choose whether you want a double opt-in or final welcome email sent as part of the campaign.
