Add the option to log a phone call (instead of using the "Log Activity" option for this)
How can a CRM not have the option to log a phone call? Using the "Log Activity" option instead doesn´t seem to make much sense - as activities are basically tasks in Nimble (and are not treated as contacts with a client in regard to the "stay in touch" functionality).
This seems very basic and obvious to me. Am I missing something?

Any updates? This is still so important. Others have mastered it, when Nimble does, it will be the best.

Is there any improvement to log phone calls?

I use Zoho but I'm not happy with their service anymore and I'm considering Nimble but knowing that they don't have the feature to log calls or an integration perhaps then I guess I need to look for other option. I will surely transfer to Nimble if they have this feature.

I am new to Nimble, am also using Salesforce. I love the social media aspect of Nimble, which is why we want to cancel Salesforce and migrate all our data to Nimble, but the phone call logging is stopping us. Please, please add this quickly!

I completely agree with this request. Call recording is critical thanks.

While the social integrations in Nimble are awesome the CRM really focuses TOO much on social. I'm a technology entrepreneur, but phone calls are still critical to building relationships.
Nimble needs to realize that users have no mental model of an "activity"...I make phone calls. PLEASE get serious about adding a phone call concept. It could just be an activity type for phone calls...or something.
I made the mistake of using a past-dated "event" for a call (since calls are a time based event)...only to cringe when my call ended up as a "meeting" on my contact's calendar with my description/notes included. Luckily it wasn't too embarrassing...but it easily could have been.
Another suggestion: Ask 5 new users to show you how they would record a phone call for a contact and watch them. Your team's eyes will be opened.
