Don't Share Email w/ Team
Sharing contacts, activities and deals company-wide is great, but if you have to also share email, the team functionality is unusable for most companies and organizations.
Hi everyone, thank you for your patience! We have launched privacy settings for messages/networks. Please go to Nimble >> Settings >> My Account
Thanks for your support and understanding!

Toby, are you the only user on your database? The privacy link only shows up if you have more than one person set up as a user of the system.
I found it difficult to find the link myself yesterday, but it was there. Go to Settings | Networks and it is on the far right where there are two links against each Network that you have set up (email, LinkedIn, twitter, etc) saying Privacy Setting | Delete
It is very discrete, personally I would like to see a button rather than a simple link.

I notice this morning that my version is 1.2.29. Have tried log gin in and out - still no privacy setting.

Hi Toby,
privacy feature has been released last week. Your app version is the latest. Try to log out of your Nimble account and log in back.
Let me know if that help.

My account isn't showing a privacy setting. The footer says I'm on version 1.2.28. Is this being rolled out? Essential for me.

I agree and disagree. This feature is awesome for a couple of reasons:
1) you can view the history of a contact. This is great for new sales people.
2) you can collaborate on a lead. Like us, we are two going to sales meetings. Both of us want to see the communication we have with the lead. However it's bad for that obvious reason that you have to share all your mail with your team. Some mail is private. I think this feature should be configurable, but not eliminated!

Same here. We love almost all of Nimble's features -- except this privacy faux pas. Give the administrator the ability to simply flag certain users' email as private, and show all email pertaining to other users. Absolutely CRITICAL for sales managers and executives.

Totally agree! The greatest benefit (instant visibility) is also a challenge. We love that it potentially means that for our people who may not manually update their activity we don't have to worry. We see their conversations and they don't have to remember to attach emails to contacts etc., the info is there. No rogue sales people!
Obviously tho, there are other conversations CEO, COO level that need to remain private.
Once this is a priority we will roll out this app.

I completely agree. I deleted Nimble from my Google domain for that reason. If every team member can see all emails sent internally/externally then there is no privacy. I don't want confidential emails to be stored in my record where everyone in the company can see them.
