Add "this week" tasks to dashboard (and don't hide them until next week!)
There is a MAJOR problem with tasks that are due "this week." Two problems, actually.
They appear to be "due" on Sunday, which is NOT this week. That is next week. Every business I've ever worked at considers Friday the "end of week," when people go home. If it's not Friday, it's not done "this week."
Tasks that are due "this week" NEVER SHOW UP on "this week's" dashboard! At the very least, I would expect them to all pop in on Friday, although that's not ideal. I'd rather not get a big surprise that I have fifteen follow up emails to send on the last day of the week. BETTER, would be to extend the "To Do Today" segment on the dashboard, add a new "By Friday" section, and list things that are due "This Week" there. I suppose you could leave them off on Monday if you want... And yes, I get that if they are due "this week" they aren't due "today..." unless today happens to be Friday, or maybe Thursday, possibly Wednesday... but the point is, any day this week I definitely COULD be working on these. SO DON'T HIDE THEM FROM ME UNTIL NEXT WEEK!
