Choosing a CRM tonight. The winner will have an iPhone app and promises from a year ago don't count! Sorry, looks good otherwise!

I have been using nimble about 2 weeks. The more I use it, the more I realize how much I need a Nimble iphone app. PLEASE give us scheduled release date!

Darn. Nimble is a no go for us until there is strong support for mobil on the MAC platform. What a great opportunity for you since there are more and more MAC users starving for a few good solutions for CRM.

I need such an iphone app - most appreciated would be a version which integrates phone numbers. actually today it's cumbersome to key-in phone numbers which are already kept in Nimble :-)

Richard,
I'm sorry that you felt that I was not sincere in my initial response, that was not my intent at all.
On behalf of our team, I apologize for not meeting your expectations regarding the release of the iOS application and I understand your frustration.
Our development team is fairly small, so we can focus only on a few projects at a time. We use this User Voice forum to gauge interest for features our users want and some of these features take more time than others.
For most of 2012, we've focused on improving the overall performance and structure of Nimble such as message syncing and contact imports. These are features that are the backbone of Nimble, if they don't function well, our product is a failure. If we ignored performance issues, even a mobile application would be irrelevant.
As with most small companies, we're hesitant to give release dates because problems often arise or other projects can take precedence.
Our latest plans are to release the mobile app by the end of 2012.
As I said earlier, I am more than happy to talk about this over the phone because we enjoy talking with our users one on one. We would love to hear some of your thoughts about the product and what you would like to see in our iOS application.
For everyone else that has voted for this feature, feel free to write us at care@nimble.com and I'll document and share the features you'd like in our mobile application with our Product team.
Sincerely,
Joseph

Joseph,
hate to say it, but your reply smacks of insincerity and lip-service. having to vote for stuff you have already promised to release is, frankly, bullshit.if you are not going to release mobile apps on the timelines as promised, then just say it. I no longer trust you guys and what you say. that is worse for you than anything else you could have achieved from this bullshit manipulation of your roadmap based on demand and voting.
regards
Richard Keeves
SmarterWebStrategies.comAnd for others to read, here is what Nimble said in answer to my question to them of
"When is the promised iPhone app going to be released?"Hi Richard and Brant,
We totally understand the anticipation over our iPhone application and we can't wait to release it as well.
We shifted our focus the past few months towards improving Nimble's functionality. After we finish these projects, we will focus on the iPhone application. We are targeting a release by the end of 2012 but anything can happen in the meantime.
Please go to our User Voice forum and vote for our iPhone application to show our team that there is a demand for it.

The way you nimble guys play with your roadmap promises does nothing to enhance your credibility.

Having to ask for people to vote on this is just stupid! wake up....... here's an idea, maybe build something based on real data not your own agenda..... remove your opinion and insert some facts..... great start! ----- OVER tech comp's building 99.999% of something then leaving their users with their dicks hanging out in the wind.......get funding, employ more people do something give your company and its users the respect they deserve! MAKE it happen!

James, I have to say, is on target. the market is highly competitive and moves quickly. Mobile SCRM solutions are here with more arriving daily. Since most users of SCRM tools work both remotely and with mobile devices, it is essential for Nimble to have this as part of their application. Heck, even GoldMine has a mobile app for iPhone/iPad (sorry Jon). Nimble is a wonderful SCRM tool and as it's name implies it is "light", simple to use, simple to configure and simple to get going with. However, without mobile, people will leave the fold to another solution that has this critical capability.

An mobile app that WORKED OFF LINE would be great.
I started using do.com for tasks as it plugs into google apps neatly and the mobile app works off-line.I have tried several HTML5 mobile apps that are great when on-line but die when on a plane or subway.
Of course an android app is a must! It would be great have an ipad app too - I spend a lot of time at events and conferences and an iphone app "that gets bigger" on an ipad is a killer! ;-)

Gilles, did you mean Q1 2012?

Richard Keeves commented
And when you say iPhone, are you also doing variation for iPad to use the bigger screen real estate?
That would be very nice... -
