Google Drive Integration

Nimble now has an integration with Dropbox and we are looking at other cloud storage options to add to the list. Please vote on this thread if you want the ability to use Google Drive to attach documents to contacts in Nimble.

Hi,

I have great news to share today – we now support Google Drive file attachments in Nimble.

You may attach files to Deals or Contacts.

To attach to a Contact, select “Attach File” and “Attach from Google Drive” to authorize yourself to your Dive account, then select your files!

To attach to a specific Deal, select “Attach from” and choose “Google Drive”. Then authorize, and select your files.

    Please add the ability to attach a file to a contact. This seems like CRM 101. Otherwise, love Nimble so far.

    When I add an attachment to a company, it should sync with the deal for which the company is linked. Same thing if I attach it to a deal, it should link back to the related companies / contacts. Without this, much information gets lost.

    Beyond necessary. So many businesses run on Google Apps (Drive). Please make this a priority.

    Yes. So glad to see you talking Q2/3 timeframe. I just started using Nimble and am loving it so far. And while email attachments is great - this would be a very helpful feature.

    To utilize Nimble as a functional and centralized CRM system, the document attachment to contacts is very much needed. Without it, I can utilize and recommend Nimble as a powerful social media management tool only.

    Attaching files from Google Drive as well as file upload from hard drive please. SmartSheet handles this beautifully if you'd like an example for competitive research. I suggest broad use of file attach/upload for contacts, activities and deals. How could this have been omitted from the app thus far??

    Since Dropbox,which I love has limited storage for free, please integrate with box.com also as they run specials for lots of space making it a better choice for those of us with larger storage needs. They ran a 25 gig free promo last month and they are currently running a 50 gig promo. They also just hired the architect of Google Apps so I'm sure they will become a major competitor to all of the storage cloud services.

    Definitely specific to recruitment but would be fantastic if there was a Keyword Search that could go through documents also. i.e. the obvious being a resume/CV.

    I think Nimble would make a strong recruiting tool if it had this capability but for now the Keyword Search is poor.

    Box.com (not Dropbox) integration would be an ideal way to do this.
    Google Drive second best (but blocked in China so our people there would be unable to access).
    Dropbox not preferred, it hasn't got traction in larger companies anyway.

    it would even be great to have a pdf viewer excel etc to see the attachments without being forced to download them! as like google-gmail offers
