Evernote integration
I suggest you explore various ways to integrate with Evernote. Ability to link notes to contacts and pull them into Nimble would be one way to expand Nimble's CRM mission.
Hi,
At the current moment, we do not have any specific plans for an integration with Evernote.
Instead, we have added the feature to log notes on contact records in Nimble.
All you will have to do is go to a current contact and select “Log Note” to save a note to a contact record.
For more information, see our announcement here: http://support.nimble.com/customer/portal/articles/666079
Thank you for your continued feedback and support!
Sincerely,
-The Nimble Team

Without the ability to search across notes, the built in notes function is not that useful. Evernote is great at this.

Evernote is REALLY good at notes. Nimble is not. I only use Nimble notes to log touches and short things. It's unusable for things like meeting minutes. Please consider swallowing your pride and integrating to Evernote. Even a simple note picker like Airtable has would be a start!
The only feature I really miss from Cloze CRM is the Evernote integration. It automatically finds and links Evernotes to relevant contacts and deals, like Nimble does with Gmail. It was an awesome feature.

I really like Nimble Notes, and would honestly pay to have it integrated in such a way that I could use it as a "front end" to evernote, converting my saved notes in Evernotes into coherent study sets or build notebooks of information from them. That functionality would honestly turn this into a must use tool for me.
You have a **killer** interface, but people have their information in all sorts of places these days. IMO finding a way to support that will bring folks to the yard.

+1 for me, Evernote is crucial to my business, I record meeting minutes using it as I can't type & listen at the same time, and I need to be able to sync them to deals! Your note system quite simply isn't good enough, not the least because it's not possible to access on a mobile device.

Any update on this? As some of the commenters have said, note entry is one of the weakest features of nimble

Honestly, one of the weakest features of Nimble is it's tasks. Integrating with Evernote would be a great way of harnessing the great technology of Nimble with an established Note/task system like Evernote.

Agreed! I use Evernote for all of my note taking and conferences. Any updates on this? Seems like a huge miss not to have the ability to import Evernote contacts into Nimble.

Any further update on this long anticipated (and long overdue) integration?

Please strongly consider this integration.
Evernote is used and loved by many entrepreneurs and business professionals. The Nimble notes app is nice for small/simple points, but lacks some of the great features that make Evernote so popular (formatting, images, audio --> recording meetings).
Plus, for many of us Evernote is our one stop shop and idea dumping/creation ground, and it'd be great to only do it once.
Thank you.

I would like to also vote for integration to Evernote. Ideally, it would be a two way sync, but the possible scenarios would still be useful.
1) Sync Contact Records into a specified Notebook to allow searching for contact info in Evernote as well as Nimble.
2) Sync notes from Nimble into Evernote notes - one way sync from Nimble to Evernote would be fine.
3) Log Activities / Tasks / etc. to evernote with different tags? All this could be done into a separate Nimble notebook. Evernote is increasingly my cabinet for everything and having information synced to Evernote for the searchability it provides, would be a great add-on.

Just adding to this thread that I would love to see Evernote integration in Nimble. It's my only missing workflow piece.

This is crazy that we can't pull a Evernote Business Card into Nimble as a new "Contact". Anyone have any newer suggests as a work around??

One more vote for this. I tried the Zapier Evernote/Nimble integration, but it doesn't seem to work for Evernote Business notebooks. My team records and shares meeting notes in Evernote, but I really wish they would automatically copy over to Nimble, rather than us having to copy and paste.

With CardMunch going away and LinkedIn pushing users to Evernote for biz card scanning, it seems critical for Nimble to integrate contacts from Evernote.
I don't always have or want a LinkedIn connection, but I do want to capture the contact info in Nimble.
Is this on the roadmap yet?

Hey guys:
This is one for the idea forum ... I'll put mine (and many other user's desire to have an iPhone app where we can actually edit the entries and have it reflected via web services to your database) ... but I am a Premium member of Evernote and they have this card scan functionality that saves time by taking a picture of a business card and having the information searchable. I wonder if a feature like that could be made available in the Nimble App or an integration with Evernote Premium subscribers ... It would sell more Evernote Premium ... so they may be in favor of the integration with Nimble.

Just to add another use case for Evernote. I use Livescribe smart pen, which hooks into my Evernote account and it indexes and makes my hand written notes searchable. I currently take hand written notes while I am on a sales call, Analog is so much faster (for me) when the call is complete i have digitized version of my handwritten notes in Evernote with a click of sync. I would then like to go into Nimble, open the contact I just spoke to, and click an Evernote button and simply select the note.
In onsite meetings I often record the audio in the room (with disclosure) while I am taking notes so I can replay the whole meeting's audio timed out with my notes. Never forget again!!
Incidentally, the far superior CRM Insightly, does just this, but falls soooo short of Nimble in so many other facets.
PLEASE consider integration!

There is no tool like Evernote. Combined with Hello, it's the solution for me to connect everyone and everything.
When I'm at a physical meeting, like a conference. I get loads of businesscards. I scan them with Hello, which instantly checks them for existence on LinkedIN. It also syncs it to Evernote, and while doing that it also OCR-s the info on the businesscard. I like the social part and such of Nimble, but I have serious doubts with the fact that I have to type in contactdata while having it already scanned and OCR-d in Evernote. Just check the Hello movie on Evernote, and you'll see how it works.

I would also agree with this. Evernote does what it does better than anything else and certainly better than the Notes feature in Nimble (but it is essential to have a native Notes feature in Nimble). Integration with this hugely popular app would be a great addition to Nimble - and I mean a native integration, rather than an integration through Zapier or other third party cloud connectors. This is something I would really like to see.
