Notes Section
It would be nice to be able to take notes of a recent phone conversation, like the last time a cold call was made or what/when/who/where about last conversation. Allowing space for simple random notes about the account would be extremely useful. It could be displayed like "message" with time and dates.
Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion for adding a Notes section!
While we don’t currently have a “Notes” section, you can select “Log Activity” on a contact record and enter your notes in the pop-up box.
See our screenshot here for an example: http://screencast.com/t/fDp7xKwAhdpv
Further down the line, we will see if there are any other changes we see necessary, but this should do for now!
Regards,
The Nimble Team

The possibility to read the full notes on a customer to get a fast update on recent activity. The popup is not time efficient.

Hmm... that is really a very poor implementation as completed today. I can't enter any formatting. I like to take LONG notes of a phone conversation, often with bullet lists or numbered lists, a few headings, a "To-Do" or "Actions" section... totally impossible as implemented. This just doesn't work, I'm still using Evernote to store notes, which means I'm not storing important information in Nimble.

I think you do need a separate section for notes and activities to keep it intuitive and clear. Activities are things you need to take "action" on and notes are for "reference" purposes. When you need to know what things you need to get done or things that you've completed, you'd look in activities. When you need to look up the last thing you talked about, you'd look at your notes on that person.

You can use Activities for this today, by adding a task and then filling out tags and comments. It's not technically a task, but just complete it right away, and there you go. Do we really need a completely separate "note" object? Nope, I don't think so.

Agreed, a nice stream of notes would be great to see under the basic contact information.

Yes! Nimble is amazing. Not every activity is sales related... I'd really like to make a note about someone. Put it under Activities. I would pay for this added feature.
I.e., note: "I met So-and-so at this-place and we talked about freshwater oyster cultivation."
