Add Activity Sets
If you often repeat the same set of tasks for a given process within your business, you may find it faster to create an activity set for these tasks, which can then be added to the item, resulting in all the tasks in the set being created automatically - rather than manually creating each task individually every time. It's a great way to automate processes within your Organization

I currently use Contactually and the only thing stopping me from switching over is the fact that they have "programs" which establishes workflow... I'm a realtor and can have a custom follow-up system for For Sale By Owners, my general sphere, Expired Listings, etc. If you guys added that, I'd switchover in a heartbeat (I even have almost 5000 contacts I'm willing to resort and go through just for that)....

This is one of the main reasons we don't switch from SugarCRM to Nimble. Creating templates for recurring tasks or workflow automation is a must for sales. I hope Nimble adds this because I do love a lot of the other features Nimble has

I would very much like to see this feature. It would enable me to manage my relationships and related activities all in one place, rather than needing to go to a separate application to track my promises or commitments to my clients (which tend to be the same, or templated).

We are planning to use Nibmle to support our sales process. For each Deal we start working on we will start a new deal. For each stage in the sales process we would like to add a checklist to help the sales rep. ask the customer the right questions and get confirmations. We would like to be able to always include a pre-defined checklist with each stage.
When we start a new deal we want a template of checklists, notes and activities to automatically be created for each stage. Filling in a checklist would not be mandatory but we would like to be able to get a % of completion for each step and the deal in total.

Yes this would REALLY help. JP Maroney is dead right - being able to batch tasks is a massive benefit for any CRM. Its such a hassle not being able to batch tasks.
I love the social element of Nimble (like most thats why Im using it) but theres not many sales focused features. Not being able to automate task creation means a lot of unnecessary copying and pasting when I should be selling!

YES YES YES... we want this. We're still on the fence about using Nimble VS AllClients -- for THIS specific reason. All of us old sales hounds (like Nimble's founder) know the power of having a batch of tasks, follow-ups, calls, actions, etc that you can QUICKLY apply to a contact.
Frankly, I'm surprised this hasn't already been included into Nimble. And ideas on how soon we might see something like this???????

Yes. Any sales automation you can add would be great. Otherwise, we're stuck adding the same old tasks and events (and sending the same emails) over and over again.
