Track referrals!
I would love to be able to link contacts in a referee <-> referrer relationship!

I agree - at the moment I put a note in each person's log which is time consuming and doesn't create a clear link.
My ideal would be an "add referral button " I select the referee and who I'm referring them to, so I log the recommendations and don't refer them again.

This is a very valuable tool - especially for service professionals and small business BECAUSE referrals and word of mouth are so important to their success.
For example, AllClients, a CRM geared for service professionals, lets users see the referral value of contacts in two ways.
1. You can see how many referrals a contact has generated, and so can rate which contacts are most likely to refer you.
2. You can also see what the lifetime profitability (and for each deal) of their referrals is as well. So while Contact A may have referred you 5 people for $10k, Contact B referred you 3 people for $15k.
