Create a "watch list" of contacts and an easy way of marking them to be watched
There are certain high priority contacts I want to monitor carefully. I'd like to be able to have them all appear on one screen.
I realise I could do this by tagging them as "watch" or something - but that's quite a slow process - many clicks needed.
What I'd like is just a space in each contact record like the stars you have now where I could just click to add them to the watch list. Then a button or menu item to look at the watch list. That would make my workflow much simpler.
Thanks!
Hi Ian,
Thank you for writing in.
At the current moment, you can add a tag to contacts that you would like to specify for a certain “watch list”. Then, you will be able to select all of these contacts from a tag on the Contacts tab.
Thank you for your feedback and support!
Best regards,
Joseph

Ian, thank you for clarifying.
At the current moment, we don't have plans to change the display of contacts on the list view to display more information. Therefore, my best recommendation would be to scroll through each contact from the "contact" view and scrolling left to right through contacts to view information. This will allow you to go through the list on a contact to contact basis and you won't need to click out to the parent list.
I also want to note that you can quickly add a tag to contacts from the list view by checking the box next to their name and then selecting "add tags" and typing a name in from the top of the list. This is done in about three clicks: select the contact, select "add tag", type it in, and then select "add" to save the tag name.
This is the alternative way to add tags rather than clicking into a contact and selecting "edit tags".
Here is a video example: http://screencast.com/t/OFvFoqtuFR3
This sounds very similar to the flow that you've described in your response. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help out.
Best regards,
Joseph

Actually, I think you misunderstand what I've looking for...
I know how to use tags ( I say so in the suggestion). They don't meet this need.
Firstly, what I want is to be able to see all the updates from contacts on the watch list in one view ( a bit like Twitter lists). With tags, I can get a list of everyone I've tagged - then I have to click on each one individually to see their updates.
What I'm looking to do is regularly check in to see if any of the people I'm "watching" has said anything on social media. if I have 20 people on the list i want to be able to see immediately what all.any of the 20 have said - not to have to click 20 times on each individual one - that's not workable.
Secondly, I want an easy way of marking them to be watched. If I try to use tags then in order to tag someone I have to click on them, click edit tags, type the name of the tag, click done, and then click back to the list I'm looking at. What I'm looking for is just a simple checkbox or star next to each person in the list (or at worst, one on their profile) so I can add them to the watchlist with one or 2 clicks, not half a dozen or more.
Simple stuff like this is REALLY important to having a viable workflow vs not.
