Allow any email to be attached to any contact

I often receive emails through other email addresses that I want to associate with my contacts. I definitely do not want to associated/link all of those email accounts with nimble as that would cause a flood of messages in my nimble account. I would, however, like to be able to forward those messages to the email address I am bringing into nimble and then associate that email with a contact. Currently, this isn't possible since the email (a forward) technically comes from me. The other workaround is to copy and paste the email into messages, but that's tedious. I just started using Nimble this week so if I'm missing a better way to handle this, please let me know!

    Thank you Joseph. I'll offer another instance this is an issue that is likely very universal. I receive a lot of my initial contacts through my contact form on my web site. The "From:" address in these emails are my own address (due to the nature of contact forms). So, Nimble sees it as an email from me, rather than an email from a new contact. This greatly defeats the purpose of using Nimble since the idea is that it automatically identifies contacts, etc.

    While copying and pasting is an acceptable temporary workaround, if I have to do it long term, it greatly reduces the positive impact of using Nimble.

    Hi,

    You are correct, it appears that this is a different feature request than what I first assumed.

    I will place this feature request under review for more users to vote for on this forum. Once this feature garners enough votes, our Product team will take a look and give an answer on whether or not we will move forward with this request.

    For now, my best recommendation is to copy the content of any important emails and log it as a note on a contact record to keep track of any interactions from other emails.

    Hi Joe, I'm not sure you're understanding clearly what I'm seeking. While being able to BCc an email to a specific contact might be a path to addressing this issue, it is not exactly what I'm seeking.

    I'm seeking the ability to attach any message in my "Messages" tab to any contact.

    Could you at least provide a link to the thread you are referring to so I can ascertain if it's truly the same feature?
