expand notes and activities within the history feed instead of making the notes open as a pop-up.
Rationale:
Right now the only thing we see in the history feed is two lines. When I click on a note to check if it has the info I need, a pop-up opens. When it doesn't have the info I need, I need to move my mouse in order to click back out. I find this very annoying.
Instead, I would like to be able to click to expand the note within the history stream. This way, if it's the wrong note, I can easily click in the same place to collapse the note.
In addition, this functionality goes hand in hand with an Expand All functionality that allows me to set the history view as expanded for all notes.
Finally, on my computer the History stream is a lot wider than the pop-up, which means that I can read more information on my screen at one time.
I would very much appreciate notes and activities expanding directly within the history feed as opposed to having them pop-up.

Agreed. The Notes element is the weakest feature (in terms of frequent use items we're interested in)...
I'm thankful that the formatting is now preserved...
But the notes require multiple clicks to get to (they are a priority aspect of any lead we manage, why hide the notes)...
The notes is provided as a 1 line summary (tough to identify which note dealt with what)...
And the note pops up to a new window (vs a more convenient, running log).
This would be a tremendous help if Notes would get a revision.
