Add Ability to Manually Update "Last Contacted'
Currently, "Last Contacted" is only updated through communications via email or social network. Not all conversations happen through these mediums, therefore, users should be able to manually update "Recently Contacted" and leave a note for the method of contact (call, in-person, etc).
The last contacted date can now be updated with calls, events, or any custom activity created.

As a past software developer, I don't understand why a change that would take 5 minutes to perform and 5 minutes to test (we're only talking about being able to manually update a single field) cannot be squeezed into the development schedule. I love what Nimble can do but I simply cannot use it without this simple ability as I need to update 'last contacted' when sending emails or making phone calls. And why can we no longer vote for this feature?

This is a major gap for those who make phone calls or send notes through the conventional mail. Would really like to see it added. Would have expected to be set up in the first release.

I think this feature is urgent. I just signed up for a trial and will probably go with another CRM system because I need to be able to track when I last contacted somebody by telephone.

I'm also would like to put in a word for this feature request.
Currently, I'm using IFTTT to log my contacts touch points via phone or sms. It's automatically add the number, name and a content (if SMS is sent/received) to Google Calendar. Then, if I can manually update the status in Nimble - it'd be a happy user!
Not to mention that implementing this feature into Nimble would be just fantastic! Though it's much more complicated compared to manually update option. -

Really i don't get it!! If i use the new Androidapp and call a customer through it, it keep not updating the "last contacted" --
I would love spreading Nimble for HR use but i really can't without this basic feature, please=>> high priority

This is really vital and the fact that it doesn't work appears to be a total bug. Really a shame that this hasn't been fixed for so long, making me as a new user think twice before putting in my credit card! I'll end up needing to send an email message to myself logging the phone call / manual interaction just so that the Last Updated field will be updated.

Perhaps simply adding a check box to the "Log Touch" activity, that says. "Update Last Contacted"
It would function like the Update Stay In Touch Cycle.Also this doesn't have to be exclusive to phone calls as it is just a logged touch, but we absolutely NEED a way to update last contacted.

This feature is a must for anyone that would use Nimble. It seems silly to me that you don't account for phone calls.. while social media and email is great many of us still use the phone.

Well since there are so many social networks out there adding more & more is really important. But I think that you realize that phone and physical meetings are still happening! :P So adding the manually last update, date and way (phone, meeting, other social network) is critical! Plus with the "other social network" feature you can get data (in a confidential way!!) which social networks you need to integrate more! Well...except Linkedin.. :(

Since the LinkedIn integration has gone I'm now frustrated by the lack of 'last touch' feature showing in my user lists. Also, it's pretty obvious that if you make a phone call to that person it should be able to log that 'touch' as a last contacted.
It seems a pretty core feature now particularly the LinkedIn integration is gone. -

You've got to be kidding me that the 'Last Contacted' information on the Contact doesn't allow for phone call or meeting or letter or whatever. This poses a real problem to quickly review contact activity.

Does anyone have a workaround for this via a 3rd party plugin or anything? I really want to stick with Nimble but this has become too much of a headache.
