Add Ability to Manually Update "Last Contacted'
Currently, "Last Contacted" is only updated through communications via email or social network. Not all conversations happen through these mediums, therefore, users should be able to manually update "Recently Contacted" and leave a note for the method of contact (call, in-person, etc).
The last contacted date can now be updated with calls, events, or any custom activity created.

Last contacted is a critical piece of information when building relationships. Whether it is an event for a meeting or call, or logging the last phone call in a note. Email is just one point of contact. This feature has been "under review" since the summer of 2013. There is enough weight from the community here to get this released. This limitation may be a showstopper for some of my Nimble clients.

This is vital - as of now, the "last contact" fields are inaccurate, as they don't take into account phone calls. Would you add a way to mark a "note" as a phone call, and reflect it in the "last contacted" field?

We need the ability to report sales activity on a daily basis immediately. If we do not get this we will be leaving Nimble for Salesforce as we must be able to track activity.

This is an extremely important feature. The purpose of a CRM should be to record and understand all customer touches, particularly in a sales environment. Most of my relationship building is in person and by phone, something Nimble does not recognize. There should be a way for a phone call or a visit to be noted and reset the last contacted clock

Just wanted to echo this feature request. I'd like to be able to manually update the "Last Contacted" details. This is critical b/c my understanding is that it's this date that triggers "get in touch" reminders.

One more thing -- what if you don't even have an email address for the contact yet?? This means manually tracking the follow up which takes time and is likely to make for losing track of this prospect.

As a sole proprietor I am interested in tracking my own activity, which is not just message based. The personal touch of a phone call is extremely important, but in your system I must take the time to create a separate log of the call and my keep in touch information becomes inaccurate. Not a fan of that feature right now.

I agree! I would love for calls to be recorded so you can see them in the "recently contacted" list. And for them to show up by date. I want to see not just the emails, but actually more important to me are the follow up calls. Date/time/who called.
