integrate SMS and telephone calls

I would use your product a lot more if you included integration with capturing SMS messages and integrating into the calendars in your system. I get a lot of text messages from clients and they all go to my google calendar but they are not associated with individual clients. Also, phone calls are reported on my google calendar but they are not associated with the individual clients. This would be a real quality service and I would almost relay on Nimble as my only CRM system.

    I see requests for SMS integration from as early as 2013. Can this be moved up on the roadmap and implemented this year? Most of the other CRMs I have looked at offer this feature nowadays.

    There is an option of synchronization via iCloud. The first step is to share your calendar from your iCloud account. To do this, from the computer browser, we go to iCloud.com. We click on the four waves icon (for example, the WiFi icon) to open the sharing options. We have to activate the Public Calendar option and copy the link that appears below it. Now we should access the Google Calendar from the computer's browser, and on the home screen, add the calendar from the URL. This can all be tested on a temporary phone number https://quackr.io.

    The ability to easily capture messages in iMessage, Slack or other messaging services would greatly improve my ability to get value from this app.

    What, no logging of text messages? This might be a deal breaker for me and Nimble.

    Ditto Steve.D's post: "Having SMS sync with contacts would be a super boost for this application. Logging inbound and outbound phone calls [AND TEXT MESSAGES] from the cell phone with an option to add a note is also helpful." (for competitive comparison, Zoho has a feature that asks after each call if you would like to log that call, with a know contact if the number is recognized or with an assigned contact if the number isn't recognized)...

    Having SMS sync with contacts would be a super boost for this application. Logging inbound and outbound phone calls from the cell phone with an option to add a note is also helpful.

    Note: We find most of our communications have moved to Voice and text from mobile phones. Having to then go back and Type this info into the CRM seems like a huge effort, and sometimes (OK Most of the time) gets missed.

    Would love to see a Twilio integration to be able to manage calls right inside Nimble.

    When phone numbers are attached to a contact, a simple click on the number should call the contact (via the browser or a phone) and incoming calls from a known number should trigger a pop-up with the contact information. Voicemail should be added, the possibility to forward calls to another person and all calls should be automatically be tracked for later reporting.
