Refine search function
I hope you can clean up your search function to be more accurate. Currently I have to search by on the first or last name I am looking for and them scroll through the options (or use advanced search). If I try to put in a full name it always comes up with no results.
This seems to be in part because many of my contacts have middle initial which get lumped into their first name because their is not a middle name field. (Or suffixes like Jr. in Last Name)

You should now be able to search in Nimble with much more accuracy in your results.
If you type in a portion of a name, you should certainly see the correct results in search.

allow for a more condensed view of contacts
Right now it feels like there is a lot of empty space and too much scrolling in the contacts view. It would help me to see more than five or six contacts on the screen. Perhaps a variable view option similar to Gmail's would be helpful

Peson list ordered by Surname/Second name
Alex Smirnov and Alexey Smirnov could be the same person, so we need the "second name" ordering and view option.
Maybe you should and an option "how to show the contact":
- FirstName SecondName
- SecondName FirstName
- SecondName only

Convert person to company
Allow me to change a record from a person to a company. When I import records, especially from Twitter, it brings them in as people, but many of them are companies or organizations, some of whom are listed in Nimble.

Show Klout Scores (and ability to sort by Klout)
As a social CRM, we need to be able to see how influential a contact is.
Adding Klout would be a very easy way to lookup how influential a person is when doing outreach or sales.16 votes -
Allow editing list items in lead source field in Other Info tab
Lead source field in Other Info Tab contains a set of default list items. These lead sources vary from company to company. Provide the UI to modify these list items add/change/delete

offer ability to sync with iCloud.
Would love a two-way sync with iCloud, if that's possible. Or some way to sync with iPhone contacts.

You may now sync your iCloud contacts to Nimble by adding the Nimble iPhone app to your phone and then enabling phone sync to nimble.

Show total count of people/company contacts for tracking purposes
For tracking purposes of total amount of contacts, show total count of people/company contacts in the interface.
This count will help Personal account where max is 3,000 contacts, and will help Business versions track total count over time.

In the messages screen, make it display the contacts profile rather than mine
If I click on an email message in a contacts record to see the last email I sent them, when the messages screen opens up the profile info it displays on the right hand side is mine rather than the contact who I sent the email to. Would be better if this was the contacts profile!
(Before I ring someone I often open the last email conversation so would be helpful to be able to see their contact details at the same time as the email being open)

If you click on a message thread, you will see the contact’s profile on the right-hand side while on the Messages Tab.
Also, if you receive a message from a contact that isn’t in Nimble, you will see the option to import them into Nimble as soon as you click on their name in the email thread.

help me to select contacts/ companies then, as a bulk action, code the relationship type
It would be good to select contacts/ companies and, as a bulk action (to save masses of time), code the relationship type (client, prospect, network, etc.). I would then like to view my contacts/ companies by relationship type. Many thanks.

Thank you for submitting this feature request.
We are marking this feature as complete because we have features in Nimble that fit your needs.
At the current moment, all users may select contacts and companies and as a bulk action, apply a tag to these contacts. The tag label can be coded in any way that specifically helps out your work flow.
Then, you will be able to select that tagged group from the Contacts tab in Nimble to quickly access these important contacts.

Expand Custom Field Types
Critical need for other field types such as: list (to assign values), date, decimal, Nimble user, number, and yes/no to be added to the custom fields. Also provide multi-value selection, such as a list field of Services can have a value of ‘installation’, the user adds another Service value such as ‘maintenance’. This multi-value will be able to be searched upon separately.
New release of Custom field support was for text (single and multi-line fields). The FAQ clarified that Custom fields cannot be added to the existing: "Contact Info" or "Other" tab in your contact records.

Need 10,000 Contacts into this program and it has only 5000 now please let me know when this gets fixed.
10,000 contracts would be nice + Sync google voice data with nimble. For example, if I call a contact that is in Nimble with google voice I would like that call to be logged in the contacts activity along with the google voice call transcription and audio playback. This would be a huge defining feature for Nimble that no one else is doing right now. No more logging calls when they log themselves. The amount of time this would save me is just ridiculous.

When you open an email from within a contact record, we need a button to close that email and go back to the contact record
Description in title. Hitting the back arrow on the browser does not seem like the way be want to be able to do this?? Thanks!
7 votesToday, when you open an email in a contact record – it will open in the Messages tab. When you click on the Contacts tab, it will bring you back to the contact record you were in.

Notes Section
It would be nice to be able to take notes of a recent phone conversation, like the last time a cold call was made or what/when/who/where about last conversation. Allowing space for simple random notes about the account would be extremely useful. It could be displayed like "message" with time and dates.

Thank you for your suggestion for adding a Notes section!
While we don’t currently have a “Notes” section, you can select “Log Activity” on a contact record and enter your notes in the pop-up box.

Further down the line, we will see if there are any other changes we see necessary, but this should do for now!

Add twitter reply and direct messages that I send to a contact become a part of that contact's record
When a contact sends me a twitter reply or DM, that message becomes a part of their contact record. However, if I send them a twitter reply or DM, it is not added to their record. What we have is a one-sided conversation only. I have not tested this with FaceBook or LinkedIn but suspect same might be true. Thx!

Add a lign of buttons under the people/company lists
I just updated my contact list (removed my housekeeper, etc). Everytime I select people to be removed I have to scroll all the way up to press the button. When placed on the bottom I can either scroll up or down, just which is shortest

Add support for custom fields
I have some information that I need to track for many of my companies. It would be helpful to be able to define custom fields in which to store this info and then filter the list of companies by this info.
One example: I want to track to "reach" that a given company has. I represent this as a number. Ideally I would be able to filter to only companies with a reach in a certain range.

Allow a contact to be associated with multiple companies
I deal with contacts that are associated with multiple companies. It would be helpful to be able to represent that reality in Nimble.
685 votesWe implemented this feature. Now you’re able to store multiple title/company records per contact, as well as store years of employment, past/present places. Similar to LinkedIn work history.

A-Z Alphabetical Sort Bar on top of contacts list
Need a quick way to get to the contact without guessing which page they are on. You could use an A B C...Z list or a search box on top of the contacts.
