put a caution when someone hits "delete tag."Didnt' know it would remove all the contacts I'd been working on for hours.
I was removing one contact and hit delete tags thinking that was the way to do it. what it did was remove my hundreds of gmail accounts I'd been working on syncing with their other social profiles - hours of work down the drain. It should have a caution: "Are you sure you want to do this? this will remove all contacts for this tag (source?)
1 voteHi Sharon,
We now display a caution before deleting tags in Nimble. We want to make sure that you are 100% certain when you choose to delete something from Nimble!

Sort search results matching a company with company first, contacts later
When searching for a company record, I get all the contacts returned as well. This is sometimes useful (if I'm looking for a contact, but can't remember the name),
But it can make it a real pain to find the company record if there are lots of contacts at the company.
By default, if search is matching the "company" field within a contact, this should be listed AFTER the actual company record
1 voteHi Tim,
If you go to Advanced Search and run a search for “Companies Only”, you will not see people belonging to those companies returned in the results.
If you are having any trouble achieving these search results, please send us a screenshot through care@nimble.com.

Create a "watch list" of contacts and an easy way of marking them to be watched
There are certain high priority contacts I want to monitor carefully. I'd like to be able to have them all appear on one screen.
I realise I could do this by tagging them as "watch" or something - but that's quite a slow process - many clicks needed.
What I'd like is just a space in each contact record like the stars you have now where I could just click to add them to the watch list. Then a button or menu item to look at the watch list. That would make my workflow much simpler.
Thanks!
1 voteHi Ian,
Thank you for writing in.
At the current moment, you can add a tag to contacts that you would like to specify for a certain “watch list”. Then, you will be able to select all of these contacts from a tag on the Contacts tab.
Thank you for your feedback and support!

can copy and paste an address
On the contact screen, please display the contact's name, company and address so I can just copy and paste the address to use on an address label. Why do I have to copy and paste everything individually, and then add line breaks? Does no one send letters or packages any more? Thanks!

Overall make Nimble SCRM more user friendly.
I have used ACT / Sage for over ten years and Salesforce.com for over a year.
I like Nimble for my personal CRM but would not recommend it for my business or any other business. Just not user friendly.
Printing is options are ‘very’ poor. When creating an Activity, ‘very’ touchy, have to go and save in exact order or all will be lost. Adding notes of meeting in an ‘Activity’ even if copy / paste triple spaced, when save button pushed, crashes it all together no spacing. Difficult to add more than one guest. That’s just the beginning.

1 voteHi Scott,
Thank you for writing in and sharing your feedback for Nimble. We are constantly striving to make Nimble more user friendly for our users and we take every piece of feedback seriously.
With regards to creating activities, we redesigned our task pop-up and pushed a release this past weekend because of all of the feedback we received regarding too many button clicks.
With regards to adding notes and the save crashing, this sounds like a bug and we would appreciate it if you could email us at care@nimble.com with a screenshot and more information so we may test this issue out and fix it on the back-end.
If you ever run across issues that appear to be a bug, please write to us directly at our Customer Care channel through care@nimble.com.

It would be helpful
When you bring up your contacts that you can also be able to source them by state location and create tags like - specialty, business type or categories i.e. medical, marketing, sales, doctors, societies and or organizations This would allow more orderly approach to managing contacts within the network so that you can drill down to what you need.
1 voteHi Quintin,
Thank you for writing to us today.
At the current moment, you can search for contacts on these criteria by using the Advanced Search function in Nimble.
You can run advanced searches on contacts based on location, and from the list, you can add a tag to these contacts.
Please email us at care@nimble.com and we can provide you with the exact information you will need to achieve your needs!

Allow users to set default fields on contact records
Right now, when we create a contact from scratch, when we enter the phone number it automatically gets assigned the "work fax" label. We have to then go and edit the information. Also, if we do enter a fax number for the account it automatically gets displayed as the default "phone number" in the at-a-glance information or the contact, resulting in a frustrating experience. I think this is is a bug that needs to be addressed.
1 voteHi George,
We have fixed this issue in Nimble and have added a hierarchy for default field values that appear at the top of a contact record.
This is the hierarchy we have in place for fields values that default to the top of contact records.
Phone modifiers in this order:
1. Main
2. Work
3. Mobile
4. Home
5. Work Fax
6. Home Fax
7. OtherEmail modifiers
1. Work
2. Personal
3. OtherAddress modifier
1. Work
2. Home
3. OtherIf you have any questions, please write back to me at care@nimble.com and I’ll be happy to help.

hyperlinks
Possibility to link to documents in Dropbox, Google Drive etc. Very usefull for contracts, calculations, offers, invoices etc.
1 voteHi Wim,
Thank you for taking the time to write to us.
You may add hyperlinks under the “URL” field on a contact record in Nimble. If you want to link to a specific Google Doc, just select “Other URL” and paste in the Google Doc URL.
We recently released a Dropbox integration and you can authorize to Dropbox directly from the contact record.
If you have any questions, please send us an email at care@nimble.com
Thank you for your feedback and support!

Format phone numbers so Dialers such as Skype and others would automatically provide dialing services.
Phone number formatting continues to come up in demonstrations. And, upon review of the phone number threads, I believe if Nimble development would format phone number fields as formal phone type fields, many of the threads would be answered automatically.
For example: Dialing from mobile - handled
Dialing from web browser with services like Skype and others - handled
Formatting visually - handled
As well a number of other comments I see herein. Thanks for considering.
You guys and gals are doing a WONDERFUL job.
1 voteHi,

Recently contacted - shoule work for new contacts you add
I use gmail and if I email someone who is not in Nimble and then add them to Nimble, they will not show at the top of my recently contacted list. They only show up at the top if I email them after I add them to Nimble. Nimble should use the email date/time to determine the sort order of "recently contacted"
1 voteHi,
Thank you for writing in.
If you have your Gmail connected to Nimble and the contact information for the user you emailed, they will appear at the top of the “Recently Contacted” list.
We already use the email date/time to show sort order, so if you add this user and their email address to Nimble, they’ll appear on top of the “Recently Contacted” list.
If you continue to have issues, please reply back to care@nimble.com and we will troubleshoot and investigate this issue for you.

Allow tags to be edited in list view
Rather than having to open each contact to edit their tags, it would be so much quicker to be able to edit them in the list view.
1 voteHi John,
Thank you for writing in. You actually can edit tags from the list view in Nimble, all you need to do is hover your mouse cursor over a tag and you’ll see the option to edit or delete a tag.
Please see the bottom of this article for details: http://support.nimble.com/customer/portal/articles/88665-tags-overview

Next Micro-Step After Merge
... allow my Merge action to be followed by my being back in the List.
Right now: After I click merge, I am placed into the merged resulting contact. What I really want to do is to see the list from where I left it, so I can continue. Nimble forces me to do yet another click and wait for the list to update
1 voteHi Sergiu,
We are about to deploy this feature this week, therefore I am marking this task as complete.
Thank you for this suggestion!

Enable mass delete of contacts through holding down shift key between edges
There seems no easy way to "clean up" the contact list - Propose that the DB does what most do and allow us to select one, hold the shift through to the next one we want to key and highlight a whole list for deletion easily.
As it is a clean up seems too awesome a task - or am I missing something?
1 voteHi Alana,
You can bulk delete contacts in groups of 1,000 in Nimble.

Allow customers to select their own important contacts
The current "3 per day" is placing all control in the hands of Nimble - instead of where it should be - in the hands of the user.
This is a serious limitation of functionality.
1 voteHi Rob,
Thank you for writing in.
Good news, we have this feature in Nimble!
Right now, you can mark any contact important by checking the “star” icon from their contact record.
Please see my screenshot for an example: http://screencast.com/t/khzmprAc
If you have any questions, please email care@nimble.com, and we will be happy to help.

Hi Glenn,
We have an Outlook Widget for all users of Outlook 2013 or Office 365 with Exchange accounts. We don’t plan on building integrations for older versions of Outlook at this time.
You may download it here:
