Display Custom IMAP Folders
It would be great to have the same folders that are set up in Google apps/gmail by IMAP, then would not have to log into gmail at all, at the moment I still need to do that as I can not organise my mail from Nimble.
Hi,
At this time, we don’t plan to change the display of folders in Nimble. We will review this at a later time if we feel this will add value to Nimble.
For now, you can send messages from your custom designed email client, i.e. Apple Mail, Gmail, or Outlook, and all messages will be synced to Nimble.
Best,
Joseph

As a new user, the first thing that all our team asked was "where are our folders from Gmail?"
This is such a basic requirement in any CRM and I have appraised quite a few this year, prior to transferring our Company from Salesforce.
If we had realised this was not a feature we would have most likely picked another CRM. That is how important it is to our team.
We are now having to use Gmail, yes with the app, but this is not an ideal situation. We bought Nimble hoping to get our team to use Nimble alone - this is now not the case.
Please please reconsider. I am sure this would bring you more new customers than you might think.

Bumping this as it still seems to be falling by the wayside... Lack of this feature severely limits what anyone running more than just a single shop/presence can achieve.
Just as a tip to anyone who has custom mapped their IMAP folders, if you need to re-map you should delete the account and then go back through the process fresh or the mappings simply won't be changed (as multiple "edit" attempts proved)

Hello,
I wanted to contribute my expirience testing multiple CRM programs.
One feature that is critical for us, is the ability to receive email from multiple accounts to the CRM.
This allows the same team to handle customers service, support and sales, but also reply from the relevant email account.
I don't know why almost no CRM program understands the central role of email in modern life. It seems that for now, only SugarCRM is allowing such a feature. All the others, including Salesforce require you to use some kind of third party software or email, in order to centralize the communication with your customers. -
Hi,
We are placing this feature under review, but it is not currently a priority for Nimble.
Thank you for supporting Nimble!

It is primarily an email program for some users Borismann, not every one will be using it or thinks the same way that you do, not trying to be insulting just pointing out.

Is this still being looked at? it would make emails so much easier to organise if we could have separate folders, and even maybe incoming mail filters would be good

I also would like to have folders in my nimble inbox

Don't get sucked into implementing this, Nimble. Nimble is not (primarily) an email program. You can see all messages through the "Archive" icon (equivalent to "All Mail" in Google). A third party integration could do more with email, but it's fine the way it is.

This thread also ties into this existing limitation: http://support.nimble.com/customer/portal/questions/71476-see-my-gmail-folders.

This thread relates to the issue of limits to the Gmail front end in Nimble?
Discussed here: http://support.nimble.com/customer/portal/questions/71476-see-my-gmail-folders.
The question remains: How long will Nimble only support Gmail's Inbox - to the exclusion of all other folders/tagged groups/labels - as viewable/reachable from within Nimble? This, along with A-Z in address book, is IMHO a "must have" feature.

I started a free trial today. Within 3 minutes, I realized that Nimble is not usable for us because it does not allow Google tags. Without that feature, which should be simple to add, we can't use it.

Need this to see Archived emails as well?

I have many filters to bypass my inbox and these never end up in Nimble. Important feature request.

Oh yea, and even better would be syncing with the label/folders I already have set up in Google Apps/Gmail!

I was going to add a new idea but realized this is very similar- my request is to add 'labels' and 'filters' to organize messages (ala Gmail). This functionality is very useful as I run multiple businesses with multiple email addresses and I like to filter them into different folders/labels. Keep up the good work Nimble team, I love it!!!
