Provide reporting capabilities
Provide custom reporting. We want to output some statistical reports based on opportunity-management stages and tags or priority codes. As a Nimble partner, we would like to set up pre-defined reports for our clients, based on our methodology for nonprofit fundraising productivity.

PS- and before "sentiment" etc and all this cool stuff is implemented it is VITAL that Nimble focus on enhancing the underlying based functions of the CRM, i.e:
- ability to sort a list of search (contacts) results by more than just name e.g. company
- ability to have a single row results list OR at the very least customize the columns
- ability to show more than 25 results on one screen, to reduce pagination -

I am getting a lot of feedback from users of Nimble that while Nimble is great on the "modern" functions of a CRM like Social integration, it lacks some of the simple 'work horse' functions that the likes of traditional stablemates such as ACT have done for years.
One of these is indeed a simple list and reporting - a way to scan down a long list of search results or contacts and tag, or update them. Continuous exporting to Excel ESPECIALLY when there is not function to filter the fields being exported, is simply not efficient or a solution.

I too found the lack of reporting to be a concern. The product is super wonderful in all regards but this. I have stakeholders to report to and I need reports for this.

Reports should include options for vieweing activities changes for (All|Contacts|Deals) and corresponding filter options.

I'm very surprised by the lack of reporting capabilities for Nimble. Reporting and analysis are essential to improving your business, particularly in a social world.
Are my followers increasing or decreasing? How is sentiment trending? How many deals do I (and my team) have and what kind? What are my best products/services? Are my leads increasing/decreasing? Where are my best lead sources? Where are my best interactions? How is my pipeline trending?
The fact that people have been asking for this for more than a year is quite concerning. This is a "nimble" world and lack of reporting for more than a year just doesn't cut it.

I'd like to see a data visualization overlay on top of the Deal pipeline data. Similar to what others here have described, but with at-a-glance visual views. For example, choose the time internal (a quarter), filter deals above 20% likelihood of closing, and export that in a report with a tabular and visual view.

With regards to Leah, you can use our advanced search capabilities to segment out certain users and export them to a CSV file.
We use this all the time at HQ, we run multiple advanced search queries to segment out specific companies or users that we want to contact.

As a stop gap, could you just provide an integration where zoho reports or a similar tool can query the database? With that most of us would be able to work fairly well.

Agreed. Beyond pipeline management, I'd love to be able to leverage Nimble's full capabilities to serve up data across modules, i.e. "Show me all people tagged "Current Customer" who I haven't emailed in the past month." "Show me all people tagged "___" who closed a deal with me last year". etc.

For clarity, when I suggest a "Chatter Digest", I am suggesting an activity log of all actions performed inside of Nimble. Making that activity log interactive is a plus, but secondary to being able to know what changes have been made to your precious database.

Without more advanced search options and reporting capabilities, Nimble functions more as a social address book than as a social crm. I need to be able to pull up lists of prospects in different stages, easily see my ongoing deals and sort by various categories, quickly search for topics in conversations/notes/events, etc. Without the reporting capability, it is difficult to track analytics.
