  2. add inbox zero tools

Take a page from handle, the email game, or mailbox and add simple productivity functionality to blaze through the inbox.

This is standing between me being able to live inside of nimble and having to leave for most messaging -- particularly that initial onte at the beginning of the day.

  3. Improve the messaging experience so I can stop flipping back to gmail

I am really trying to "live inside" Nimble.

The problem is: my life moves too fast for the messaging system, and it lacks the richness of gmail's web interface and even some aspects of hand.le

    Specifically:
    1) the inbox is far from real-time in refreshing
    2) then there's the wait message relating to messages being synched (that I don't see in other apps)
    3) Messages frequently have formatting issues / issues with in-line graphics
    4) After every action, I am dumped back at my inbox, when I really wand to move onto the next message.
    5) I would love a…

    Hi Andy,

    Thank you for your suggestion.

We do not plan on making improvements to messaging from within Nimble in the near future.

Instead, we plan on launching a widget for Gmail by the end of the year. This widget will allow you to interact with all of your Nimble contacts from Gmail, and allow you to add new contacts from Gmail.

Our idea behind this initiative is to help bring Nimble to our users in their workflow, and it is going to be a very exciting launch.

If you have any questions, please email care@nimble.com, and we’ll be happy to help.

    Cheers,

    Joseph

    Hi,

    Thank you for writing in.

At the current moment, we do not plan on adding specific sorting to tasks on the Activities page.

You may “Star” activities to visually show their importance, and these starred tasks are also visible if you segment your activities by “Starred” on the left-hand side of the activity list.

If you have any questions, please email care@nimble.com, and we will be happy to help.

    Best regards,

    Joseph

  6. It would be nice to have more information about a contact directly from the tasklist. like splitscreen at google mail

When i work on my task list I want a complete overview from the connected contact/account. Because i like to know what is going on.

  7. stick a small "@" symbol in front of the "twitter" field (rather than inside it).

Grey text inside a field often indicate sample text that one might enter. But in your case, you want users to enter a Twitter account without the "@" symbol. So it might be more clear to place it outside the field.

  10. Replace the 'Horray!'-text on the Today screen with a motivating picture

As it is now, it looks untidy, when you've rated all the contacts. Instead, reward the user with something aesthetically pleasing, not grey clutter.

  11. What Page

I received this notice - Engagement Opportunities

    Doug Lingo liked your page

General Manager at MPI Label Systems

There is NO link to the page he liked! So I have no idea how to engage without going to all the pages and looking to see if that was the page he liked

Add the page link which opens in a new window

  12. Be able to create customisable bit.ly domains (the bit.ly API allows this)

Using bit.ly custom domains (e.g. mydmn.co/[shortened link] vs. bit.ly/[shortened link] or nimb.li/[shortened link]) does 2 things:

    1) Improved branding
    2) Allows action tracking

  13. Twitter Direct Message (DM) broadcasts to specific groups

    Like: http://www.socialbro.com/twitter-dm-campaigns

Be able to send out personalized DMs to a custom sample of your followers, making sure your messages are targeted at the right people, saving your time and ensuring you are not sending out messages to those who will have no interest in them. Use Nimble's contact tags and filtering options to segment the group of followers you wish to target.

  14. Search Results: Add "View More" option (or add Next/Prev to top of page)

In the contacts search results, it's difficult to move quickly through contacts. Few results means I have to scroll to the bottom to see Next/Previous. Please either allow me to see more results per page (50, 100) or at least add Next/Previous to the top.

  16. Ability to email out a request to ones contact(s) requesting they update their contact info.

Ability to email out a request to ones contact(s) requesting they update their contact info. Salesforce has this and it's a very good feature to ensure your data stays current, right from contact themselves. Updated info from contact would be mapped to correct fields automatically within Nimble.

  17. add a simple integration feature that will work with Aweber or Mailchimp and Guru.com

This word not just add forms like Wufoo, but, provide for marketing automation. Guru would allow for project management and task training.

  18. Integration with LeadSift for better Twitter customer engagement.

LeadSift is a new and very promising cloud based software system that anaylizes Twitter "leads" and used a smart algorithm to set a score based system, showing you who is a prime lead. Its very cool and we just started using it with great success, I'd love to see an integration for it. They are integrated with Hootsuite and Salesforce at the moment.

  19. Option to exclude certain criteria from triggering 'stay in touch'

There should be an option to choose which activities you want to reset the 'stay in touch' for your contacts. For example, I do not want things like twitter @ tweets to reset the reminder, but I do want emails, twitter DMs, etc. I want to make sure I am making a personal connection to each contact at certain times of the year, and I don't want twitter conversations to interfere with this.

  20. Let users know notes will not be sent to contacts in events

When setting up an event, just put a line of text that says notes/email will not be sent to this contact. I had to do a lot of searching and testing to be sure this wasn't happening.
