Automatically log a touch when sending a message
It would be great to have the system automatically log a touch with a contact when you send a message. Maybe have a checkbox to allow it to be logged or something.

Add a salutation field for group messages
It is great that Nimble now has a group messaging funktion. Unfortunately it is practically useless because there is no possibilty to add individualized salutations (e.g. Dear Maggie vs. Dear Ms. Newclient) to an email template.
There is a workaround by using the Title field to store individual salutations but then there is no place to store the title.
So please add a standard field to the standard contact info and make it possible to use this field as a merge tag in group messages. This would be especially usefull when using Nimble in any other language than English.

Reset Email "From" Box When Email Address is Updated
Hi,
I setup a template and went to use it when I found out that Nimble was emailing from my gmail account (that is what I signed up with). I went and reset my default email address, but the "from" address is stuck at gmail. I can't add mailchimp or server email options, and emailing biz stuff from gmail won't work. What is the workaround for this please. I can't use the emailing service til its fixed :(

Should fix the emails section
Hi,
I noticed if i got a contact from nimble and send an email to that user it wouldnt send. I would need to remove the name and just have the email in.
Also i noticed the sent box doesnt update that great.

allow template emails to be sharable in the same company between users.
Consistent voice in a company is really important. If many people want to, say send information on advertising to potential clients, them marketing would want to write the template and have all assocciates use the same ones.
It would also be nice if links carried over from cut and pastes, which they don't.

Show WHOLE twitter message (instead of only 140 characters)
In pending and history you see only part of twitter messages and not full message which is very annoying as it is not clear what has been communicated!
Enlarge field and storage from twitter message so you can read whole and complete message thread

Email Formatting Toolbar
It would be great if there was an option to change the Text Colour and Text Background Colour when writing emails on the Email Formatting Toolbar.

Enable notes/log touches entered to be emailed to other Nimble users on our team.
We would like to be able to pass along relevant notes/log touches to individual(s) by email via nimble (checkbox). This would reduce the redundancy of having to compose a new email to communicate notes/log touches already entered into Nimble - so having to do it twice essentially.

Thank you for submitting your idea.
Right now, the best option would be to copy and paste that note over to a new email to communicate it with individuals.
If they are team members, they could refer to the note on the contact record itself.

make it so we can email those we have "tagged" in a certain group(s)
Why have a tag feature if it's just to see the list?
I would like to be able (in my case, for instance) to email Fabricators in Los Angeles. I have a "fabricators' tag, a "New York" tag and a "LA" tag, some of my messaging only is relevant to a portion or coast.
I'm sure I;m not the first to ask, but this would really convince me to stick with Nimble.

Create multiple alert levels - different contacts
Allow for creation of multiple alert levels so that certain users will only receive Critical events. We could then configure monitoring and alerting systems such as Pagerduty to forward Critical events to an after hours pager, without notifying on non-critical events.

Create another Sent folder that contains all Emails from the sent folder that have no replies
It would be great to see a folder created in Nimble which it would include all e-mails from the sent folder that have received no replies. Like that I can see who I have to reply to back that person hasn't replied yet.
What do you think?

Allow mailto: link to open user's email client and use business email address
Many of us have gmail aliases that allow us to send mail with our business domain name. Nimble does not support this, which means that I have to open my local email client to write or respond to emails. Every other web site I know of will open the user's email client when you click on a mailto: link. Nimble opens their own email window. It should be trivial to configure it so that control+click (or command+click) would produce the normal result and allow the outgoing email to be sent from the user's client and, hence, his/her business email address

save customer emails when a salesperson leaves
When a salesperson leaves, all the emails that they synced from their Gmail disappear from the contact history.
Given you are able to 'see' these items while the salesperson is live, why not import that data and save it to the contact's history permanently. Come on Jon - Even Goldmine used to do that.

Integrate Facebook Messenger
Most people I know are more comfortable chatting on the Facebook Instant Messenger app than sending messages to their inbox. Having a way to use messenger within Nimble would be great.

Twitter Conversations
Be able to actually see the previous conversation above the twitter messages so that you can remember what you actually said in the first instance! :) I'm forever seeing a tweet msg to me and wondering what they are on about thus having to leave Nimble to see the original tweet IDEALLY you'd be able to see the whole conversation;)

Show the number of unread emails in the Inbox
Even if you are not planning to build an unread message filter into the email client (which would be great), at least please add an indicator as to how many unread messages there are.

Fetch mail faster so we can use Nimble for all email interactions.
By allowing us to fetch mail in 1 minute intervals it would enable us to do all of our communications in Nimble instead of switching back and forth with gmail. This will enhance efficiency.
