Sync to google contacts
would love the ability to have a clean sync back to google contacts, or at least to the iphone.

We’re happy to announce that we now have a solution for syncing with Nimble and Google Contacts. We developed this through a partnership with a great group of people from the PieSync team.
For Solo Users, this service is completely free of charge.
For Team Users, it is $5.00 per user, per month.

Add the ability to set specific contacts as private
Sales staff should be able to "protect" their contacts from other sales people from getting deleted, used, shared, etc.
Admins should be able to create a contact then share with particular people of their choice (creating a custom territory for their sales team).
Admin needs more control and 'management' features over team.
ALSO... contacts need to backed up incase they get deleted, in general.... having to update an exported CSV routinely and run the risk of all public contacts among my team will cause me to choose another CRM as we grow.

Allow a contact to be associated with multiple companies
I deal with contacts that are associated with multiple companies. It would be helpful to be able to represent that reality in Nimble.

Open and Click Tracking
Opening and clicking of emails greatly signify engagement with your company and brand.

Google Voice Integration
Sync google voice data with nimble. For example, if I call a contact that is in Nimble with google voice I would like that call to be logged in the contacts activity along with the google voice call transcription and audio playback. This would be a huge defining feature for Nimble that no one else is doing right now. No more logging calls when they log themselves. The amount of time this would save me is just ridiculous.

Convert person to company
Allow me to change a record from a person to a company. When I import records, especially from Twitter, it brings them in as people, but many of them are companies or organizations, some of whom are listed in Nimble.

Would love a two-way sync with iCloud, if that's possible. Or some way to sync with iPhone contacts.

Expand Custom Field Types
Critical need for other field types such as: list (to assign values), date, decimal, Nimble user, number, and yes/no to be added to the custom fields. Also provide multi-value selection, such as a list field of Services can have a value of ‘installation’, the user adds another Service value such as ‘maintenance’. This multi-value will be able to be searched upon separately.
New release of Custom field support was for text (single and multi-line fields). The FAQ clarified that Custom fields cannot be added to the existing: "Contact Info" or "Other" tab in your contact records.

Notes Section
It would be nice to be able to take notes of a recent phone conversation, like the last time a cold call was made or what/when/who/where about last conversation. Allowing space for simple random notes about the account would be extremely useful. It could be displayed like "message" with time and dates.

While we don’t currently have a “Notes” section, you can select “Log Activity” on a contact record and enter your notes in the pop-up box.

Advanced Search should allow you to search for any fields not just a few (ie: lead status)

Automate adding contacts from messages and communications
It would be great if Nimble allow us to add a contact directly from a communication so when I get an email from a new contact I can use their details from the communication they have sent to make a new contact, instead of having to go and manually do it.

Display manually entered Birthdays on Today Page and Signals Tab
Birthdays which are entered manually to the contact profile do not show up on the Today page and Signals tab. This should be very easy and straightforward to implement, since the system already shows birthdays for facebook contacts for example.

provide a way to rank contacts. Importance? Circles?
You guys blow Gist out of the water, but they have one feature you don't: The ability to rank contacts by "importance". (How they calculate that value is completely baffling to me, however.) You can take that idea and make it kick-ass. Consider Google+'s circles. Not all contacts are equally close/important to me. Wouldn't it be great if contacts moved into different circles based on how much conversation (email, twitter, fb) takes place between us?

We now allow you to search on the “Star Rating” of contacts in Nimble, which allows you to rank your contacts by importance and search on them in Nimble.
To search on contacts by “Star Rating”, go to the Advanced Search feature in Nimble.

add feature to detect suspected duplicates automatically.
This is a must-have. Gimp has this feature. With over a thousand contacts (and broken navigation - about to file a bug over that) it is prohibitively difficult to find and merge duplicates.

Capture and auto populate contact info into Nimble
I would love the ability to capture a contact's name, email, phone, address etc from the web or snap a picture of a business card and have it automatically populate into Nimble.
This is a function of Windows Based Contact Capture or Chrome Contact Clipper for Evernote.

Have contact display include phone numbers without expanding profile.

Create a contact directly from new email/social interaction
I'd like to have the ability to simply click on an email/social interaction that's not yet a contact and create a contact from it. When receiving emails from prospects or interacting with new contacts, this would allow not having to create the contact from scratch.

Add support for custom fields
I have some information that I need to track for many of my companies. It would be helpful to be able to define custom fields in which to store this info and then filter the list of companies by this info.
One example: I want to track to "reach" that a given company has. I represent this as a number. Ideally I would be able to filter to only companies with a reach in a certain range.
