  1. Give an option not to merge contacts with duplicate email

    Obviously it's not ideal, but sometimes we have customers that give the same email address (office@, info@ etc). Nimble helpfully suggests merging, but sometimes I'd like to be able to choose not to merge, but keep multiple contacts with this email associated.

    Thank you for writing in.

    We will likely not allow for keeping duplicate contacts with separate emails because we support storing multiple emails on a single contact record.

    Most of our users have requested the ability to keep as few duplicates as possible, therefore, we must decline this feature request.

  2. Search Capability for Events

    There is a strong needs for search in events. Say you need to reschedule a meeting and cannot remember the date or some other detail on the event. Searching be keywords in subject and notes would be invaluable.

    We definitely see the value in being able to search for Events. This feature request is under review and once it receives more votes, we will investigate ways of bringing it to fruition.

    For the time being, you can find a list of your Tasks and Events under your Activities tab.

  4. When will Nimble be able to integrate with Goldmine?

    We use Goldmine and have for years. Our entire website's back-end is heavily built around GM and we prefer not to move to another CRM. A lot of this has to do with the fact that the cloud based CRM systems are too slow to be really effective - because we are based in Australia the lag time is significant.

    We are employing more and more offshore employees, mainly in the Philippines who access Goldmine through remote desktop clients which quite frankly suck!

    That and of course it would be incredible to have Nimble's social network integration layered onto our…

    You may export your contacts to CSV from Goldmine and format the CSV file according to our template, and then import the contact information to Nimble.

  5. Net Promoter Score

    It would be nice if there was a way to rate relationships based on their answer to a single question: "On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely is it you would refer me or my company to a friend or colleague". This is a pretty big deal at a lot of leading companies nowdays like Zappos and Apple.

    You definitely have all the right Social Sites, need to take, all my Contacts in Google plus and add them to my my facebook friends list; when one clicks on the, "find friends"; option, on facebook, one of the options is to insert a CSV file, you need a CSV conversion setup of some type, that will all for, adding Google Plus Circles, and Gmail contacts, to be converted to facebook friends list, via; CSV file option, in facebook, "find friends", option.

    For now, we do not have plans to cross integrate between social networks within nimble for adding friends. Instead, we search across these networks through our Social Profile Match feature to help you locate contacts when they are in Nimble under one network.

  7. Allow me to reorder deal stages

    Once setup you can't re-order deal stages so my dropdown has everything out of order. Even if it auto sorted alphabetically I could prefix my deal stages with a number.

  8. Tag emails by matching "Reply-To" address

    I get a reasonable number of emails from a service that send the email from their address, but sets the repply-to address to the name of the prospect. These are typically from a site where a prospect requests information and as such are valuable emails that I need tied to their record.

  9. Include Google Chat transcripts in contact records as a message

    I use Google Chat / Gchat to talk to partners, vendors and customers. My Gmail saves these chat transcripts, but I can't see them in Nimble. It would be great if Nimble included chat transcripts. Then it would truly be a comprehensive record of communications (in Google Apps / Gmail), and I wouldn't need to keep Gmail open alongside it.

  11. Base Recent Contacts on home screen on interactions, not just which records were opened

    The list of recent contacts on the home screen is only based on which ones we have viewed directly in Nimble. It would be awesome and incredibly useful if this was updated automatically based on our interactions outside of Nimble such as

    Messages sent / received
    Recently created event or task
    Upcoming event or task
    etc.

    The beauty of Nimble is the ability to gather lots of information about our interactions - why not put this to use and give Nimble the ability to predict what information we need before we even need it?

    This is a great feature request and we will definitely place it under review.

    We have recently rolled out the “Recently Contacted” feature so we certainly have many enhancements to make. This is a perfect example of how we can use information from interactions to better your CRM experience!

  13. Allow me to enter a Linked In URL for a contact even if I have maxed out my API calls

    I just imported 180 contacts and am going through cleaning up their data and adding important information. Most of the time you find them on FB and Linked In, but sometimes you don't. That's ok because I can get their URL and enter it manually. Until I run out of API calls. Once that happens, the updates I make to their profile cannot be saved. I have to wait (some unknown amount of time) until I can again enter the information and save the profile.

    Thank you for submitting this feature request.

    Unfortunately, our URL field for social profiles is set to call on LinkedIn or other social networks to verify the profile and we aren’t able to set it to save a URL without sending a call.

    Because of this, if your profile is maxed out for API calls, the LinkedIn URL will not be able to be added in the LInkedIn URL field.

    Our best suggestion for now would be to add the LinkedIn URL as a standard URL on a contact record, tag the contact, and then come back at a later time once your LinkedIn API throttle limit expires.

  14. change the icon photo import; so that instead of squeezing a rectangular photo to make it square, it cropped it.

    Right now, when I import a photo that is NOT square, the photo is squeezed and people look weird and thin. You can keep the square frame, just allow the rectangular image to be cropped. Then people will look like themselves. :-)

  15. Allow any email to be attached to any contact

    I often receive emails through other email addresses that I want to associate with my contacts. I definitely do not want to associated/link all of those email accounts with nimble as that would cause a flood of messages in my nimble account. I would, however, like to be able to forward those messages to the email address I am bringing into nimble and then associate that email with a contact. Currently, this isn't possible since the email (a forward) technically comes from me. The other workaround is to copy and paste the email into messages, but that's tedious. I just…

  18. View All Deals - Would make servicing existing accounts easier.

    Once I close a deal, I want it to be easier to service that deal - my deals are ongoing. Also, I'd like to be able to see them in context with my other deals - so view all are good.

  19. Time stamp for custom field entries to allow multiple entries

    At present you can only update an existing custom field. Old data is over-written

    I suggest an entry can be timestamped and stored. This is similar to the Notes history operation. This will enable users to create a tab with multiple fields which then show a history. Very useful for service providers e.g.

    Service Date would give history of service
    or

    Treatment Date
    Treatment provided

    or
    Complaint Received Date
    Complaint Note

    The above would enable all complaints from one client to be tracked. (realise that may be 3rd party solutions for this but for many business es they don't require…

  20. Can you add website to the dropdown when you add a company's url?

    It defaults to blog, which is incorrect. It would be nice to have website and if a user wanted to add the blog url as a separate item, great, but it should not mis-categorize entered data.
