instead of clicking edit - hover and click specific fields
to update contact info like email, url, titles, would be helpful if you could just over the field item and edit. Instead of edit button and scrolling all the way to the bottom of the screen to include a company website.

include within the history the name of the related contact.
When you log an activity for John Doe at ABC company. When the activity is posted in the history. It would be helpful to know who the contact that activty is related to. That way it avoids have to manually click and dive into the each logged activity. This is particularly helpful when there are many contacts within a specific company for a few ppl are involved.

Include 'Closed On' field in CSV Export
CSV export includes Date Created and Expected Close, but not the 'Closed On' field. It would be great to include this field in the export. Makes tracking performance much much easier.

Perhaps a way to address the idea that I and others are requesting to connect Emails to records above and beyond those linked via the email address, is to use the Subject Line. So if 2 parties in a company for example are discussing a contact via email and they want that to be connected automatically to the database they could enter <customer name> in the Subject. CONTACTS - MESSAGES - INTEGRATIONS

Ability to copy things from inside a note.
I love the notes functionality - it's a HUGE part of how we use Nimble. One really REALLY annoying thing? You can't copy / paste things from inside a note. I leave notes for other users on deals, often containing copy for our website relating to that deal. When our content manager goes to create the post, she can't copy anything from the note to paste it into the blog. Very frustrating.

Deal Print Button
I'd love a simple print button for both deals view option that organizes it all nicely on a PDF ready for distribution or print.
Every week we meet internally to get everybody up to speed on our deals but we'd live to have it nicely printed so we can hand it out or put it on the wall.
This should be a simple request :)
Thank you!
9 votesHi Sven,
We recommend that all users utilize the print function in their browser to print deal data. We do not intend to build a print button within the Nimble app for Deals at this time.

Show type of Twitter relationship on a contact record
It would be very useful if I could see the type of relationship I have to contacts that I follow on Twitter and have in Nimble.
This would help me sort my contacts in Nimble accordingly and allow me to engage with different types of Twitter contacts in different ways.

Move the search box over to the left column
Please move the search box over to the left column where we are always working.
6 votesHi,
Thank you for submitting this feature request.
At this time, we do not feel that moving the search box to the left-hand side will be a decision that we will make for Nimble. We apologize but we must decline this feature request.
Thank you for your feedback and support for Nimble!
Best regards,
Joseph

remove users without losing their messages
When you remove a user Nimble currently deletes all their messages from the system. This goes against the whole ethos of a CRM system - the idea is surely that the company maintains the relationship with the customer even when the individual user moves on.
"All messages and activities associated with this user will be permanently deleted."
We should be allowed to keep messages even when removing users so that other staff can carry on when the user leaves the organisation.

change stages in deals by every user
Hello, would it be possible for an user to change stages in pipeline of a deal create by another user (each user has different tasks in the pipeline to get to close the deal)
1 voteHi,
Thank you for writing in and suggesting this feature request.
For now, we do not plan on allowing non-owners of deals to edit stages of deals. We may change this feature in the future, but we do not have it in our list of feature enhancements for 2013.
If you have any questions, please email us at care@nimble.com and we will be happy to help.

Find a way to import "2nd degree" contacts from Linkedin or Facebook.
Not sure if it is so simple but it would be very powerful in prospecting - especially if you know who they are mutually connected by.
If for example, Ms. X is connected to 2-3 "customers" (probably people with similar interests/profiling) then it is a shortcut to assume Ms. X has potential - worth calling her to find out!!
This will be massive in recruitment cold calling. i.e. headhunting. Star players usually hang with star players.
3 votesHi Murray,
Thank you for writing in.
Unfortunately, we’re not able to access 2nd degree contacts from LinkedIn or Facebook’s API, therefore we must decline this feature request.
In all honesty, we would love to have this feature in Nimble as well, it would make it much more powerful and if it is allowed in the future, we will likely revisit this feature.
Best regards,
Joseph

Color coding Contacts by Status in the Deal view might be useful.
At the very least being able to quickly and easily see (and edit) Lead Status would be helpful.
You want to make it quick and simple for users to identify where their next "close" is coming from. Good practice is to focus on the next "closable" deal before others, so anything you can do to help identify these is good. Avoid sifting through the "longer term" contacts and prioritize the "hot" (final stage) ones.
Color coding is a fairly easy way to do it: light blue, amber, red?

Add the ability to embed a URL into a contact note
Give us the ability to embed the HTML tag: <a href="http://... into the text, so that we can create hot links in contact notes. A lot nicer than pasting the URL into the note text.
