  1. View Social Stream by Tag

Often it makes sense to ask "What are these group of people thinking about today?
I'm wondering if there's a way to view the social stream for contacts with a particular tag, avoiding the needlessly tedious task of going into the social stream for each contact individually.

    Hi,

We are placing this request under review.

For now, you can save searches and view your Signals by saved searches.

This means that you can create a saved search based on a specific tag you want to monitor and we will surface that information for you based on your engagements.

We will review ways we can improve this feature and update this thread when we have more information to share.

Thank you for your feedback and support!

  2. Color coding events by tags

It would be useful to have different tagged events show up as different colors on the calendar

    Hi,

At the current moment, we do not plan on color coding tagged events on the calendar view in Nimble.

If this feature gains more support, we will revisit it at a later date.

Thank you for your feedback and support!

  3. Allow for importing of Deals into Nimble from other CRMs

Allow users to import information into the Deals tab.

Often, users will come from different CRMs and they want to bring their current opportunities and deals into Nimble for tracking.

  4. UI suggestions to make our life easier

Contacts > People or Company: Remember my last used tag as my default view.

Contacts > People > Search: Return only people results instead of both

Contacts > Company > Search: Return only Company results instead of both

Contacts > Delete: Move it to a trash bin.
    - This way, if I re-import contact, you won't recreate them.
    - If I change my mind, I just have to move it back from the trash

Company Info: Suggest contact information based on users contact data. I have 9 people in a company with the same url, I am sure you can…

  5. Filter Contacts' TAGS like a multiple choice for instantaneous results

I know that a specific search can be done in Advanced but it's more cumbersome and I'm always looking for different combinations of tags so to do an advanced search and save the specific tag combinations isn't feasible nor is it "nimble". Whereas give us the ability to just click on the tags like a multiple choice a la carte list would be outstanding and a great time saver. All of the tags are already listed on the right hand side of the screen. Just give us the ability to click on multiple ones to create our "AND" search. Please?…

    Hi,

Thank you for your feedback regarding tag selection in Nimble. We are placing this feature under review for now.

For the time being, you can run an advanced search on multiple tagged groups to bring them into view.

We will update this thread as soon as we have an update on what our Product team decides to do with tag selection in Nimble.

    Best regards,

    Joseph

  7. Give the ability to sync more than 90 days of email messages for contacts

I have emails related to contacts that are older than 90 days that I'd like to have for easy reference from Nimble. I suggest giving the users the option of syncing further back than 90 days.

  9. List Contacts by each letter of the Alphabet using an A-Z List - Not Just Sort ALL Contacts Alphabetically

It is not enough to just sort ALL Contacts alphabetically to try to find a Contact whose Name starts with some letter.

Each letter on the A-Z List on the right side of the UI should be a link to the Contacts whose First Names begin with that letter.

Alternatively, along the top of the screen, create an A-Z horizontal List where each letter, when clicked, brings the User to the beginning of that list of names that start with that letter AND make the numeric list (at the bottom of the screen) limited to those pages of the list…

  10. make Tags and Deals menus dropdowns, rather than empty fields, when associating with tasks

Right now, when associating an activity with a Tag or a Deal, there is a blank field, rather than a drop-down with check marks. This means anyone using the Tags or Deals needs to know the comprehensive list, and must be trusted to spell and capitalize them correctly. It also opens the door to people accidentally creating new Tags.

  11. Add "share" notices to Social>Notifications

Sharing is the most powerful component in social. How could you ignore this?

It is important to acknowledge those who find your content worth sharing with their spheres of influence.

You must include "share" notices in social>notifications.

  13. User friendly print options

Quick and easy print options out of Nimble.

I would like to print my daily calendar view, then a couple weeks view. NOT user friendly.

The reason many like myself used ACT by Sage for so long is it was ‘easy’ to use, other CRM have lots of bells and whistles, some I like but please work on including the basics.

    Hi,

    Thank you for writing in.

At the current moment, we will not be able to include this feature in Nimble because it is already available through saved Twitter searches.

If you create and save a Twitter search, it will appear in the Social tab in Nimble under Twitter. From here, you will be able to view those that are mentioning you and you can import them into Nimble right away.

In order to display saved searches in Nimble, they must first be created on Twitter.

To create a saved search on Twitter, type a search into Twitter such as “#nimble” or “@nimble” (replace “nimble” with your company name or conversation of choice).

Next, run the search and select the cog to save your search. (http://screencast.com/t/7PhtgR2t).

Once this search is saved, it will appear on the left-hand side of the Social tab in Nimble. (http://screencast.com/t/bBRNWwduFdhg).

  15. Please move the delete key to the left column

Please move the delete key over to the left column. When deleting one or more records, we have to highlight a too tiny box on the very left of the screen. Why can't the delete key be there also, since that is the next keystroke after selecting the various records for deletion.

    Hi,

We don’t currently have plans to change the location of the delete key in Nimble.

When we next review the design of Nimble, we may consider changes, but we do not have any plans in the near future.

Thank you for your feedback and support for Nimble!

    Hi,

Thank you for submitting this feature request.

At this time, we do not feel that moving the search box to the left-hand side will be a decision that we will make for Nimble. We apologize but we must decline this feature request.

Thank you for your feedback and support for Nimble!

    Best regards,

  17. Add Next Action Date field to the Deals List.

This would allow me to see that indeed there ARE next actions for every deal, and I could sort by next action to put these in chronological order. Right now I have no easy way to ensure that each of my deals has a next action, and can't get a feel for how my pipeline is progressing over time.

  18. Sorting of Custom Data Field Values

Some of our custom data fields are getting to have a lot of values; it would be great to be able to automatically alphabetize this list of values so that we don't have to manually alphabetize them by copy/pasting them either down a cell everytime we add a new value in the middle of the alphabet.

    Hi,

    Thank you for writing in.

We plan on making improvements to the data fields section in Nimble to make it easier to sort data, but we do not have a release date for this feature yet.

Thank you for submitting this feature request, we appreciate your enthusiasm for making Nimble better!

    Best regards,

    Joseph

  19. Find a way to import "2nd degree" contacts from Linkedin or Facebook.

Not sure if it is so simple but it would be very powerful in prospecting - especially if you know who they are mutually connected by.

If for example, Ms. X is connected to 2-3 "customers" (probably people with similar interests/profiling) then it is a shortcut to assume Ms. X has potential - worth calling her to find out!!

This will be massive in recruitment cold calling. i.e. headhunting. Star players usually hang with star players.

    Hi Murray,

    Thank you for writing in.

Unfortunately, we’re not able to access 2nd degree contacts from LinkedIn or Facebook’s API, therefore we must decline this feature request.

In all honesty, we would love to have this feature in Nimble as well, it would make it much more powerful and if it is allowed in the future, we will likely revisit this feature.

    Best regards,

    Joseph

  20. Color coding Contacts by Status in the Deal view might be useful.

At the very least being able to quickly and easily see (and edit) Lead Status would be helpful.

You want to make it quick and simple for users to identify where their next "close" is coming from. Good practice is to focus on the next "closable" deal before others, so anything you can do to help identify these is good. Avoid sifting through the "longer term" contacts and prioritize the "hot" (final stage) ones.

Color coding is a fairly easy way to do it: light blue, amber, red?
